Haven't given it a lot of thought, but I do refer to my Satellite as the lady, so female, I guess.

A female friend of mine in the States happen to share birthday with my car, so I might make them namesakes... which would make my Satty an "Audrey". Kinda like it.

i think that once you get to a certain level of horsepower, the phrase "ol girl" doesnt seem to fit as well.
and dont think the word "muscle" reminds me of femininity. if i was to name my car it would be "Gunner"!

I only named my first 70 Satty ragtop. I had her in college and the B-52's were a hot band at the time. I named mine Claire after the lyrics of their song : "She came from Planet Claire. I knew she came from there. She drove a Plymouth Satellite , faster than the speed of light !!!! "

She was a 318 - 3 on the tree. Was never fast, but sure had four years of some great times in that baby !!!!!

I think guys give their old cars girl's names because the take all you money and can be very frustrating.

I don't really name my cars. My 2011 Chrysler is the Chrysler and the 1970 Super Bee is the Bee. All cars are female. They take all your money and time, try to run your life, bitch and moan and refuse to listen when they are pissed at you, expect you to do all the work and take credit for any fun that you have. Just like a female, we keep going for back more...life is good.

I bought a 73 SSB in 74 over the phone and was told it was yellow my thought was I was going to paint

now 39 years later it is still yellow and has been painted a few times with once more to come soon

I call the 70 the Road Roaster and the R/T the R/T or my Hot Rod Dodge and was thinking of starting a "resto" thread called "The Bitch is Back" because it was a stored away so long and finally back but I'm not going to be restoring it anytime soon so it would be more of a " fix the stuff it needs and improve 'her' looks then pound her thread " so the Bitch is Back might be fitting

yeah I wish I had some already loaded on my computer, I've never been a big photo guy, tell very recently {mostly because of nostalgia aspects}, but I was always driving, running around like a chicken with my head cut off, all over the place, "liven' the life" & I have my memories, I don't need pitchers...LOL... I have old partners Rob C. & Jim C., that keeps telling me they have some still, their wives always took some... I never seem to get any thou... I have some old photos on my wall 1/2 a dozen or so & a bunch of Polaroid's stuffed in a drawer somewhere, that's about it... Someday, maybe I will get around to converting stuff to digital, maybe... I just got use to my old POS digital ViviCam-20 camera & now I can't even use it anymore {not compatible with my new computer} & buying another digital camera, It's not real high on the priority list, never has been....
