It's still going for another 6 + years...getting closer and closer each pass. it has sent back data from the first two passes. Not the first anniversary yet..

I expect that one of the data points that is being sought is information on trajectory possibilities for sling shoting spacecraft around the Sun to multiply the percent of lightspeed speeds. Useful for planning trips outside the solar system to whatever nearby star system we have to go to when we finish ******* up this planet. After all, FTL propulsion is not yet a reality.
