Got this e-mail from someone responding to my wanted ad for door panels,I smell scam?Read from bottom up.

Thanks for the mail. I have the requested items in the ware house in black colour and excellent condition and shape. Mine are original and not rep. I currently don't have photos of mine as I just got computer formatted. I will be asking a $205 for them as I will be shipping via UPS on a two working days delivery and will accept payment via Western Union or Money Gram. What's your complete shipping address? Phone contact?

Have them sent C.O.D. and DON'T pay the delivery guy until after you open the box and make sure they're what you need

Yup,that threw up a flag.

I sent him a reply that I needed pics and would use Paypal for payment as I suspected a scam and haven`t heard back from him-imagine that!I smelled him out right away but beware of anybody offering you parts in a similar way.

I am with you on the COD only. To many scams going to trust to many people.

I listed a Coronet for a friend on here a few months back on this site and put his contact info. in the listing. He almost got scammed by someone from the same area. They wanted to wire transfer money right to his bank account. If you do this, make sure you set up a seperate account with no money in it. They will start writing checks on the account and it's nearly impossible for the authorities to track them down.
