it is the bracket that holds the rubber in place that then gets compressed between the carrage and the window bracket. They are obsolete and always rust. On one end i am missing 6 inchs and on the other i am 75% rusted away on the end. I am rebuilding with fiberglass and it is actually going quite well however i do not know the exact shape since both ends are so damaged. if any one could post some pictures of the last 6 inches it would help.
