Need a 440 base for air grabber cleaner

I have a 383 base but now have a 440 in the car. I need a lower base

That is the only difference between a 383 and a 440. The carb neck is 3/8" 9/16" shorter on the 440. The 383 is almost straight for the first bit so I see no reason you can trim that off, clean it up to match the original look. There are WAY more 383 cleaners kicking around out there vs 440's. I wouldn't hesitate to cut one.
