WTB Need a deck lid for a 1968 GTX

Hi All,
This is my first post on any forum of any kind. I started restoring my 68 GTX that I've had for the last 36 years...a long time coming! It is in a shop getting all the body work done (which was a lot) and the deck lid is so rusted out along the bottom edge that it can't really be reconstructed without at least the intact inner structure and bottom edge or we just need to get a decent deck lid to replace it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! These seem to be a bit hard to come by.

I have an available 68 GTX deck lid for sale - midwestern Ohio - might still be in the for sale forum? In primer - thought I was going to use it, but found a better one. You're correct, very hard to come by!

I’m going to pick up a 68 Satellite 4 door parts car. Would the deck lid be the same. It’s a Texas car so it should not be rusty. The rest of the car is not. I’m thinking they are the same.

I looked a t a few pics of 4 door satellites and it even looks like the rear panel may have the same holes, although not sure about that. They definetly look almost identical but I would need to do a bit more research on that. I've had some other responses that are not on this thread, so I will update this thread if I make any decisions and/or find out if the 4 door is a direct match.

Note: There may be trim panel holes on some and some without.
