Hey guys, I need some help if possible. I'm looking for some examples of pricing for a 65 Belvedere project and 69 Roadrunner project. If anyone has seen listing's for either of these or similar years or makes such as a Satellite within a year or two , it would be a tremendous help. Again, looking for projects, not finished cars. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This from AI.....

  • Low-end: Prices for project cars in rough condition, requiring significant restoration, can start as low as $4,995 (according to Classics on Autotrader).
  • Mid-range: Cars that need some work but are closer to being restored can be priced between $15,000 to $25,000.
  • High-end: More complete or partially restored project cars can fetch prices between $25,000 to $40,000.
  • Top-end: The highest recorded sale price for a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere project car was $297,000 (for a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere A/fx Haulin Hemi II on January 14, 2022, according to Classic.com)."
There's a butt for every seat,
and buyer/seller prices can
and do depend on
circumstance or desperation
to sell or buy.
I once bought a perfectly
good running Jeep Wrangler
for $400.00. The seller
needed bail money for his
kid.

Can you post some pictures of those projects?
Here's one I bought for $51.00. (the cab, doors,
fenders, running boards,
and front grille.
1940 rare Plymouth Pickup.
I got a thousand pics.
Right place, right time?
How far you want to go
with that projject is totally
at your disgression.
I persued this project as
"can this be done"? as I'm
a mechanical engineer
with an insational appitite.
My son and I built this in
our garage...

For project cars (as with a lot of everything else) condition is everything.

A clean, rust free "roller" body will be extremely valuable. while a body needing metal work will not, unless it's a very low production, highly optioned car.
Next is "completeness", where projects with all the hard to find or not reproduced, useable parts are present.

There is simply too much of a window to adequately comply with the OP's request.

It's already been answered-

Somewhere between $400 and $295,000.

However-----go to ebay and look at the listings for "American steel classics" listings.

Their project cars do eventually sell, but the actual prices are not listed.
Their listings can be used as a wide ballpark estimate for asking prices and condition.
IMO- the best two deals so far, I've seen from them in the past year were-

1969 Coronet R/T- solid body, non-original engine, converted to four speed, factory silver car- $20K
1967 Charger- solid body, factory 440 car, factory four speed car- $20K
