Need advice on the best disc brake conversion for '65 Belvedere

Looks like this will be the plan. MowPar had another friend drop by with a '74 Dart, and they tried the wheel from the Belvedere - fits with approx 2mm clearance, which apparently is workable with a small shave on the caliper.

Isn't this the same configuration as using F/M/J spindles with the standard 10" brake caliper adapters and single piston F/M/J calipers? Or did the Dart have slider calipers?

With consideration to where you live, which system would be the easiest to source replacement parts? This might be a major factor for you if replacement parts have to swim across the pond.

Got mine from the Doc too. OE based stuff, 03-07 Stang GT, is way easier to source replacement parts for. Of course you can go aftermarket based, Willwood/Baer etc, but it would be wise to keep a stash of replacement service items considering where you are located.

I like my 11" drums with this upgrade kit. Better shoe material, stronger springs etc. Good stopping power and modulation. All 4 corners.
