I have a leak on my 72 satellite power steering gearbox. It seems to be coming from the seal where steering coupler connects. According to the manual, it is the worm gear seal. Also according to the manual, I need a special tool to remove n replace it. Any advice on how to remove and replace without the special tool? Also, recommendations on where to purchase the seal?

I rebuilt mine (69) and don't remember there being anything special about it, manuals tend to call for special tools for everything. I just used a small screwdriver and a hammer to pop it out like most seals.

Where did you find the bearing? I need to change the same one, did you have a part number?
