WTB need help! 89 D-150 fuel tank needed

89 d-150 30 gal fuel tank, top has split, plastic welded it together about a year ago, but has came apart again, the do not make a replacement that I can find. anyone happen to have access to one ?

I'm in the same boat as you. Fixed mine twice on my 88 D350. I figure a used one must have the same problems,or will have.

My plan is to install a steel tank where the spare tire goes. A early B 16 gallon tank will fit right in the frame with a few brackets made.Fill will be behind the plate like the old cars.Or I'll extend the plumbing and use a B body tank of the 66-69 Charger that fills from the side. I gotta check with my gauge guy if the dash gauge is still the same Chrysler ohm 70/30 I think. Not done yet I got a list of items to fix on the old girl.Only use her when I need a truck.
