hey guys. i have a 1971 dodge charger with manual drum brakes all 4 wheels. I'm going to upgrade the front to disc soon and keep everything manual. Now I'm trying to figure out what bore size master cylinder to get. and also what valves do i exactly need. i plan on running new brake lines to the front brakes and maybe new lines to the back i haven't decided yet. but do i need a metering valve for the front brakes? and also do i need a adjustable valve for the back drums along with a 10lb residual valve also?
Thanks in advance

I don't have an exact answer for you but here's what I did . I used a master cylinder and proportioning valve from a disc brake car (74 Charger in this case) and it seems to work just fine.

I went to manual disc/drum on both my 69 Charger and 69 Road Runner. Bought the complete setups from Pirate Jack. I've been happy with them so far. You could also give Wayne the Ramman a call. I think he knows more about Mopar brakes than anybody out there.

yaa I'm getting the alterktion front end and I'm getting the wilwood option for brakes thats why I'm trying to figure out the rest

I did the exact same swap. Bought this on ebay, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mopar-Disc-...971|Model:Charger&hash=item2580c36ac0&vxp=mtr , a disc brake master cylinder from autozone for a 71 Charger. Bought spindles with rotor and caliper from a swap meet. Bought new calipers from autozone and used the old as cores. Bought new rotors off ebay. Bought new front rubber brake lines and a Stainless Steel complete brake line kit for a 71 Charger with power disc brakes from inlinetube.com .

Any advice on what bore size to use for the master cylinder and im thinking about just getting a residual valve and portioning valve for the back and putting a metering valve in the front lines. What you guys think
