Need help with correct windshield install 68 Charger

Hi guys,
Need help with correct windshield install on my 68 Charger. I've installed it with new Precision gasket. Do I need to install separate locking strip or should I lock the gasket like this:

Did you use the 3M bedding and glazing compound on the corners and metal body lip?

I installed gasket on painted windshield on roof and pillars dry, and glued gasket with uretane on lower body lip.
We dont have 3M 08509 in stock in Russia, but I have similar nonhardening sealer, to put it between glass and gasket. Every photos I found about installing windshield, they put uretane only on lower lip.
