WTB NEED INTERIOR PARTS FOR MY 68 GTX

Hello:

Looking for a source of supply for the LH corner woodgrain dash trim for 68 GTX. Do not see any on eBay or MOPAR parts dealers.
Also looking for the ash tray cover for 68 GTX and is there is a part that goes where the center vents would be on an AC car.
Cannot find the thin trim piece that goes across the top of the dash panel. Any ideas?

Some of the parts you’re looking for are practically of unicorn status. There’s a guy out here in LA that was reproducing the wood grain dash pieces - His work looked pretty good. No idea if he still does or not. I don’t see him posting much anymore either. However he’s @SoCal440GTX - I think that was what he wen by but I’m not seeing that come up either. You could search “woodgrain dash pieces GTX” and see what you find. I might be off a little on his name. He had a big dog for an avatar. I had my 68 X from 71 until a few yrs ago - and I know your pain on what you’re looking for.

Keep in mind the '68 and '69 pieces differ in color slightly and the radio bezels are completely different. You'll get away with a mis-match using the end piece, but if you put a '68 radio bezel next to a '69 hockey stick, you'll see the difference.

Welcome to the differences in 68&69 cars one is lighter the other is darker, I paid dearly for my trim on my dash ! It a sport satellite and not a repop item. The padded dash trim is hard to find too.

I tried to PM you with following but it said that you had reached your limit: What is your best price including shipping to 22554 for the left woodgrain trim piece and the ashtray. Also, I am buying a retro radio with the woodgrain bezel from Crutchfield but it looks like it's darker than what I have. Any leads on one of those in the lighter color that was used on 68s?
