Need Photo views of '74 Charger showing Body Lines

My paint and body guys have been at it now three months and are getting along well. They've reached a road block. Some photos we've found on line seem to show a less pronounced body line mid way between the obvious ones at top and bottom.

If these side lines really do exist, can anyone please post pictures showing these lines. I'm not building a show quality car but would like it correct.

Looking through large Google images of '74's, I almost think that the centre line you are referencing is more of an optical illusion due to the very rounded panels. Also, many came with stripes that try and accent it. With very shiny paint, the lower half will reflect the "ground" and the upper half will reflect towards the sky, creating the illusion of a line in the metal.

Just my eye s opinion though.

I have spent hundreds of hours blocking out 3rd gens: There is definitely no body line formed in the metal between the upper and lower lines. It's a nice smooth curve.

Thank you gentlemen. That is my opinion also. Its been many years since I last saw my original '74 SE and don't recall there being any center formed body line. The SE I bought a few years back has had a couple repaints over the years but showed not indication of a body line either. Just want to make sure we're doing it correctly.

I like the 68 style side marker lights! I did the same thing for a 66 Sport Fury.

I absolutely hate the generic 72 and up marker lights! They look like something that you can buy at Harbor Freight for a utility trailer!
