Are the bucket seats out a 1966 cornet 500 the same or close enough to use in a 1969 Roadrunner? They will need new foam and recovered, but will the rails and everything bolt up in the same location?

Does this help? They are on craigs list and I need bucket seats for my car.

They will bolt up in the same location on the floor, but I think the frames are 66-67 items only.

I think the 66 brackets are going to be too tall!

Would the seat frames out of a 69 charger be close to a 69 RR if you changed the foam and cover or can anyone hook me up with some 69RR bucket seats out there?

Charger is the same seat as a RR foam is also the same, just a different cover.Pretty sure i saw a pair listed here in the classifieds.

I seen that thanks for the info there is some on C list that are a little closer.

not entirely sure if they will fit, i don't see why not since the seat design was only changed in 69 to support a shorter top back section and locking clasp on the bottom. though i say hard to tell since my 66-67 seats came out of the 69 coronet with the floor pan Swiss cheesed from all the "hack jobs" the previous owner had. take some measurements on the pan, that will give you a yay or nay for the decisions.
