i need a little bit of help locating some parts for my winter project, if any of you fellas know a vendor that i can get it from, or just have any information or opinions let me know.

i need to find the tool that you use to pull the trim rings for the wiper and headlight switches on the dash, i remember seeing it in a catalog online i just cant remember whos catalog it was in.

I also need to qet a regulator for the drivers quarter glass, are they the same as the doors? I seen laysons had some, but they didnt specifically say for the quarter glass.

And is there a difference between coronet 440 and 500 door panels? im looking to put original ones in (previous owner made his own) but the repops i can find are for the 500 and RT. I know they will bolt up and everything, i just want to know if there is a major apperance difference.

thanks for your help!

What year Coronet?

500 door panels usually have carpet at the bottom. 440 does not. Pattern is awfully similar. Might have an extra stitch.

Legendary has both. I think PUI also makes them, but only in black.

I'd try snap ring pliers on the dash switches. I've also used a small flat blade screwdriver, and a carefull, steady hand. Seat the blade at an angle, then smack the handle with the palm of your other hand. Might hurt, but works.

I'd like to know the regulator answer as well. I know where there's a junk 66 Charger with p/w. I'd like to put those in my Coronet, but not sure if the rear/quarter window reg will work.

its a 67, and you wouldnt happen to have the link to those websites would ya? Thanks!

The quarter window regulators are very different from the door regs. I am unaware of any reproduction regulators for '66, '67. Might have to try wrecking yards, I've seen 'em on ebay too. I've seen the dash bezel tool on ebay too. Good luck.

Post a pic?

I grew up in Ohio from 69-87 and had a K1 med turqoise 67 white hat special, which I drove fully loaded (I mean FULLY) to FL.

quarter regulators

To all

These numbers are from my parts books 1966-1970 [manual regulators].

Part numbers- Rear 2-dr regulators
Models that are the same.

66-67 charger 2583-034 Rt and 035 Lt
66-67 b body convertible 2583-032 Rt and 2583-033 Lt
66-67 b body 2-dr ht 2583-030 Rt and 2583-031 Lt
68-70 b body 2-dr ht 2583-030 Rt and 2583-031 Lt
68-70 charger 2583-030 Rt and 2583-031 Lt

So if you need rear regulators you have a good selection of cars to get
them off of.

On your question about 66-67 charger electric regulator interchange.

part numbers electic rear regulators

66-67 b body 2-dr ht 2583-764 Rt and 2583-765 Lt
68-70 b body 2-dr ht 2583-764 Rt and 2583-765 Lt
68-70 charger 2583-764 Rt and 2583-765 Lt

66-67 charger 2583-762 Rt and 2583-763 Lt

It seems 66-67 charger is all alone on rear window regulators
manuel or electric.

Hope this answer some questions

Jeff

Hey, thanks. I was afraid of that. Those 1st gen Charger side rear windows are pretty big.

Looks like all the other 66-70's are the same, though.
