need the letter E

go to Collectorsautosupply. under the body section of the B body section nearly at the bottom of the list is the e letter.
:sad10:Anyone got the letter "E" or the whole DODGE word for the hood of a '67 Coronet 500? One of the other guys on here is looking for me but he's not too sure he has any.

The 'E' must have the indent in it on the back side so it fits the center style line on the hood. I have seen so many sets saying they are for 67 Coronet 500 but they are NOT. They all have a straight 'E'.

Tek, the part number for the middle D is 2582461. This style letter was only made for the hood of 67 Coronets and Chargers, nothing else used them. Dodge for some reason used two different part numbers for the two Ds, the only difference is the mounting pins. I never knew why they did this and when you mentioned the indent I thought "THAT'S IT", that's why the two different numbers. I ran to my stash, yes I have a 2582461 NOS letter (Sorry not for sale) and it does not have any indent for the center line of the hood. I don't have a hood right now to compare, but I think the center line disappears where the letters are. If you have a pronounced center line all the way to the hood lip, the body shop that painted your car (I'm assuming it has been painted) just carried the line too far.

I'm saying this because I think you are looking for something that doesn't exist. If you see a set of hood letters that look like them, they are them, I'm not aware of anything that even looks similar, but I could be wrong.

the center "D" is curved for the front of hood....the left "D" is not....pins are different also

Be different. Use the DODGE letters off a '61 - '68 Sweptline pickup!
