Ive been looking into refurbing the ac in my 66. Iv seen some guys using a NAPA replacement pn hc205. Anyone use one in their car? It seems like a better option than a 50 year old brittle ebay buy.

You should be able to get a new one, I got mine from rockauto but I guess they don't sell them anymore which is a shame it was like $12 keep scouring ebay somebody has new ones. The one in the link above is new just $44

Brand new at NAPA A/C & Heater Selector Switch Part Number: ECH HC205.
Anyway, those are your numbers.

i gave $40 for it and would like to get that back or trade for a four button non a/c switch in like condition. i didn't take any pics of the button side because they all look the same. i thought the "business" side would be more relevant.

I asked, cause some have long and short buttons.

the buttons stick up about 1/2".
