Need to translate engine numbers

Good day

I have a question.
I bought Christmas present -71 Satelite project to myself.

Orig 318 car. Engine history unknown. It´s big question mark for me.
Found running engine under the hood. 7Q mildon, 4 barrel bouble bumper and edelbrock. Did not open valve covers yet.

Need your assistance. What does engine codes stand for? Please, give your comments.
Previous owner changed drive train. 727 8 ¾" Sure Grip.

Casting numbers 2070741 (1964-1972) and 1820657 (1957-1964) identify the smaller 1 3/8th-inch-diameter, 10-spline pinion shaft, and are often called the "741" case.
