got a cracked block 440 hp 70 model found a 76 out of rv with less than 30 thousand miles are the blocks the same my car isnt a #s matching i just need to know if blocks are the same thanks i plan on putting my guts into this if same
 
Theres a good tech page at 440 source. IMO, he should have just said yes to a point. All of your 440 stuff should swap over wihout a problem. The later year block differences are minimal, unless you plan on racing it, a street drivin car will never know the difference.

I think, not to sure, but I think those RV engines came with reverse rotation cams due to a direct drive.. AKA gear to gear instead of timing chain....set up.

When you swap everything over , it won't matter, just don't re-use the cam and gear set up or mix and match those parts.
