Does anyone know where the 3 wires on the neutral/safety switch on a 66 Plymouth Satellite with a 727 go?
Thank You! I do have a later transmission with the 3 pin switch. The original automatic transmission neutral safety switch in a 1966 Satellite had a single contact which connects to the starter relay "G" pin. If a later transmission, or a later three pin switch and the associated internal manual lever assembly has been installed, the center pin/wire is connected to the starter relay "G" pin and the outer pins/wires connect to the reverse lamps and key switched +12 volts. The order of connection for the outer pins does not matter. The reverse lamp switch in 1966 was on the column for column shift or in the console on the console shifter. Connecting the outer pins to the original reverse switch wires, if present, is the simplest approach.
