New 1969 Charger Hotwheel

There's no way this one will ever get opened. Searched long and hard for this and finally snagged this for US$250. Well worth the price as only a week after mine surfaced they traded for US$1500 and more.

I have only seen three others on the net - and two were opened. :) Said to be only 100 made and most went to Police at the Vero Station in Florida.

I'll bet that Bruce Pascall doesn't have one of these.

Pretty happy to leave these beauties in the packages. Worth every penny paid.

I've had at least 30 of these pass through my hands....said to be a New Zealand exclusive and less than 200 made.....

This is not as rare but oh so cool.....proabably one of the most prized in that series....

Same here, I never take mine out of the packaging, only bought to stare at. I have other beauties that I play with, and they don’t have no wheels.

I guess I'm the opposite. When you sent me the 70 RR, I looked them up online and saw them from $2.75 - $35. While I was opening the outer package, I asked my wife if it would be a mistake to unbox it. She said probably, then watched me tear it open in 2 seconds. I would enjoy having it in the package, but I don't enjoy looking at it in the package. The package would be in a drawer. The Hot Wheels is on my desk. Plus, I can do noisy burnouts. When no one is around...

Investment wise, I can't see preserving something of that value unless you are a collector and have many. If you just have a few, play with them. I'm not saving mine for the next kid!
They're only original once.

Don't you know taking them out of the packaging is like throwing away the Broadcast Sheet for our cars, or do you save the packaging?

Done my fair share of opening cars and chopping them also.....not any more as I don't have the hours, the patience or the drive to with such small parts....
