Clean it up, get her running, go over it mechanically, brake system ect. And have fun with it. You don't see these everyday and it will get a lot of attention.

Looks like she has the leaning tower of power? Three on the tree or auto?

Much rot? Looks like it might be solid.

Seems cool to me. I'd fix it up. It would turn a lot of heads driving down the road.

you could send it my way i like it lol! now get it running and drive the wheels off of it

I love those 62's. Get it driveable and drive it as much as possible. Very cool.

Got it home Sat and had been in a shed since 1988. Gave it a quick bath and tried to start , no spark and will take a look at the points this weekend62 New.jpgnew.jpg

That's just cool. Get her safe to drive and putt that old girl around. Don't plan on stopping anywhere and not talking to someone about it. Good luck and have fun!

Nice find, looks to be in decent shape.

Was the master cylinder off when you got it?

Can anyone help me or have a resource for decoding a VIN # 2221130139. I think this car might of been a Minnesota State car.

Some people call them " 4 doors", but we call them "More Doors"

Got the old girl running and sounds good , however I am running on a slave tank. Here is what I ran into not fuel to fuel pump , replaced rubber hose coming out of tank and still no luck. Ended up pulling tank found sending unit completely clogged and caked with an unknown substance, there are chuncks of this stuff on bottom of tank as well. When you grab a piece its feels oil based and slimy, after it dries out turns to a powder. Where is the best place to get a new pickup sock ? parts stores don't seen to stock. 1.JPG2.JPG
