Excellent idea! I posted sometime ago about my SS springs from DC. Made in Mexico, no warranty. But the dealer reimbursed me and told me to do whatever with the springs. IIRC they went on a drag car.I found that the passenger side (right) S/S spring(-454) would sag because the second leaf did not extend all the way back to the rear shackle eye. So, I ended up using left side springs (-455) on both sides in my 1967 R/T. Now, 25 years later, both springs (3800 lb. S/S) are sagging at the shackle ends. I am planning on pulling them out and have a local spring shop rebuild them.
According to the dealer, they found out that the Mexican springs were not entirely consistent in quality. The dealer quit taking orders. Mine dropped the bumper about 1 inch lower than the old sagged springs. When I originally bought my '67 R/T project, the rear springs were sagged. I bought a new set of Mopar Performance "Hemi" rear springs and installed them. I did not see much difference in ride height with them, so went with S/S springs.
Me too! Mine have been on since 2015. No sag. But I don't haul much other than a spare, a scissor jack and the battery. Probably would have bought from ESPO but never heard of them until recently.Looks like its Espo for the win. Got me a little concerned, I put Mopar ss springs on a couple of my cars in the last 3 or 4 years. They fit perfect and set the car exactly like I wanted it and I don't see anything wrong yet but maybe I got lucky and got a good set.
