Few tips for those poor souls who have to endure this agony.
Background: 70 GTX 4spd Doing a front disc conversion(Baer) Got a new Dual Diaphragm booster,pivot link and mount plate from PirateJack.
Here's the tips. Drop steering column, remove inst cluster at least pull it away. After removing old booster. Assuming you are using new mounting plate. Upsize the upper holes to 21/64.
Install the pivot link on to the booster rod. Snug up that bolt to keep the link in line and not flopping around.
Use a small zip tie to keep the pedal link close to the pivot. this will keep the bushing in place in the pivot as well. Tie a string Loop to the spring that wraps over the pedal link. pull the string down to extend the spring over the pedal link.
It's easier of course if your under 60 yrs old.
