New dash pad doesn't fit...

Seems like a lottery then if the supplied dashpad will fit or not. Clearly quality control was nonexistent in my case.

I have purchased two dash pads from Mike at BEA, one for my 67 and just bought one for my wife's 66. Other than having to paint the red dash pad with the metallic red paint from Mr Moparts, it worked fine. The red they ship out is fire engine red, way too bright if you are going for an OE look. Guess the quality control as someone said varies from one pad to another.
