New distributor pickup bad?

So I dismantled the distributor, cleaned up and oiled the mechanical advance, shaft etc, cussed at that little retainer clip inside the shaft for a proper length of time, and put it together with this new pickup coil. It does not line up parallel with the reluctor wheel at all. Did I get a bad one or they all bent a little bit like this? It is a Standard LX102 498FC45B-34A2-4617-AFFB-2A6694816770.jpeg
 
Tweak it with some pliers and install/ check
 
In this new age of shitty parts somehow I am still surprised when I get bad new parts. This is the picture of it before I put it in my vice and straightened it293F2211-211A-4A42-9029-6AC616BC149E.jpeg
 
Normal now especially any standard "T" parts which are their lower end of jobber!
