After seeing some threads about building a garage, and seeing a number of threads about what tool is best, I thought creating this forum might be a good idea.

Excellent idea! There's a lot of us(myself included) that would benefit from a "shop" forum. If I ever get another structure up,I will be hittin' up you guys for advice. Thanks,Joey.

I think it would be a great idea also... I too will building another new 28'x42' shop soon, I have the roof & supports up already, using it as a car port until Pops is done with his RV & boat crap & I will try to help others when I can add something useful, I use to maintain & build automotive dealership facilities for a living, 15 or so years ago now, still kind of know some of the basics, equipment changes like computer stuff, there is something new every 6 months or so, but some of the old stand by stuff will still work....

If anyone is needing help with building a new shop or facility give a shout. I have been in construction even with my own business for over 17yrs and still going. I've helped quite a few of my friends build shops of all kinds and with difficult perameters, including tying into other existing structures. Some of their original ideas were down right scary!
There has got to be a lot of knowledge loosely floating around out there in a lot of member's heads that might just help someone out (besides favorite car/spaghetti western/serious babe flick movies and an occasional self invented mixed drink).
