Hello. I am a new member from Southern California, but don't hold that against me please. Lol

I've always had an interest in Mopars so I purchased a 1964 Sport Fury. The car has bucket seats, console, and dealer A/C. It currently has a 318 Poly.

My plans are to swap that out for a 440/727 with a Gearvendor (which I have).

The car is definitely a project car, and my goal is to restore it but not go crazy on modifications.

The car allegedly ran when parked, however I was unable to start it when purchased.

I hope other members here can eventually help me locate the necessary parts I need which are too far gone to save or missing.

Thank you,
Brandy

Awesome car, awesome colors! Welcome to B-Bodies Forum, which you will find and get a lot of information and help! Welcome!

BTW, no reason to apologise about being a Southern California native. The politicians and the nuts here that support them need to apologise to us!

Glendale, CA!

Thanks for the welcome. And I agree on the politician problems.

I don't hate the color of the car, but I saw a silver one with red interior, and it just completely caught my eye. The red pops against the silver color and the silver gives the car some elegance. With some cool Torque Thrust wheels to keep it somewhat era correct looking I believe it would be a great looking car.

Obviously the 440 isn't the stock motor, so I am not too concerned about restoring it to originality. I just want it to be a nice-looking car like the pic I posted

Good luck with your project, and thanks for the pictures! You get 10 extra points for showing them in your very first post. :)

Welcome to FBBO from Ontario (not the one in Cali). Congratulations on your purchase, and enjoy your 1964 Sport Fury project. I have a 1964 Polara, Canadian 4-door hardtop with factory bucket seats and console.

Welcome from the central coast. I'll be cruising through your hood in a month on the way to Woodley. Like others have mentioned, attend that show/swap. Very worthwhile. I'll be in my wagon showing/spectating/shopping/hanging out.
