Welcome to FBBO! I'll be the first to say it we'd love to see some pics of your 71!

Also tell more of the story what made you leave the accounting field for a trade?

now before ya judge the plans note i found this clean title charger for 400 cash, and am building it as a daily driver.

as for plans budget is small as well no shop so i just want to clean it up and make it a daily driver. It has a couple rust spots and a few repaired spots from a long time ago that are still solid, gonna patch the new ones and just paint it in my fresh air shop. As for motor it had a 318, and I love stick shifts. So sticking to my budget daily driver I have a 5.2 magnum 96 ram 2wd with an nv3500 5 speed im gonna swap motor and tranny into the car. Yes I know it wont be as cool as a big block beast but i will be afford to drive it daily and isnt a racecar or a showcar.

as for the switch from accountant to tradesman i hate accounting went into it so id have time and money to tinker, but I end up hateing my days so much and doing payroll for cheap employers paying their tradesman 32 an hour while paying me 22 to manage their money it seems like a good time to switch.

thanks for the welcomes.

Welcome, the plans sound good to me. As a daily driver you don't want a big block anyways.

Hi, and welcome! What part of BC? Looking forward to watching how your daily driver comes along...

Oh, I think I've been there. I stayed in Salmo a couple of times in the '90s, visited places all over there like Nelson, Trail and your town... :)

Thanks for all the welcomes. Wow a lot of Canadians and even BC people here.
