Hi all,

I'm Jack. I've got a '68 Coronet that I purchased 4 years ago, not too long after my 20th birthday. I've always had a burning passion to keep classic cars on the road, I figure what better way to do so than by cruising around in a B body Mopar!

My car is a January '68, LA assembled Coronet Deluxe that was sold new at Padre Dodge and spent most of its time in San Diego. It's an original paint car and I plan to keep it that way.

In my ownership, I've bought the car up to NZ's rather tough road standards, which thankfully didn't require much work. I've put roughly 9000 trouble free miles on the car since I purchased it and have enjoyed every drive.

At this stage, the car is entering a bit of a "new chapter". I've recently acquired a fresh 440 and 727 to replace the 318 and 904. I'll start a project thread for anyone interested, there are a few conversion questions I'm confident I'll find the answers to on here, too.

Cheers!

Now that's pretty encouraging to read...
A 24 year old who talks the talk and walks the walk of old school muscle cars

You are welcome around these parts, son:lol:
And welcome from NY.

Welcome to FBBO from Ontario, Canada, Jack. That looks like a pretty solid '68 Coronet 440. They were the basis for the new SuperBee. Your car looks to have optional headrests, fender turn signal indicators and R/T wheelwell and sill moldings. Good luck with your engine/transmission change. You will need a shorter driveshaft with larger 727 front yoke.

Gidday from a small Island in the Salish Sea.
In English that is near Vancouver BC Canada.
Where in NZ are you? The roads are a lot better than they used to be. Most are now paved.

Welcome from NE of you, on the central coast of Cal, after a short swim. LOL! I remember that dealer. Grew up in SD county.
