Hello forum, I am Jimmy i am 19 years old and last month i bought my first mopar. Its a 1971 satellite Sebring plus but its in the process of being cloned to a Road Runner. its a outstanding car that i love to death! it also has a 1990 318 police roller motor in it for the time being.

i hope to complete it before i finish college but its a pretty big goal to fill up

here are some pictures of the car

Question.....what is the different between the standerd 383 (1969) and the 383 Magnum.

I think the difference is the name. Plymouth like to call there engines Commando's in the 60's. Chrysler called their 440 TNT.

Maybe a difference in the cam and heads.

thanks for the warm welcomes,

here is a video i made the second day i got the car disregard my stupid comments i was to excited about actually getting the car, as it was also the first car i ever bought. i also just made this video for my friends to see the car who are away in college and haven't ever viewed a beauty like it.

also the spoiler is off of 69 mach 1 that's what i mean by wrong wing in the video makes it a pain to see out the back window cause its so angled.

defiantly gotta love that. But soon I'm gonna switch it out haven't decided yet, since its only a clone swapping it for whatever isn't really gonna hurt its value. i believe I'm gonna go with either a 340 6pack which is a bit unique and i do love 340's or just find a good ol' 383 but i don't know how long i can survive on my current financial situation and 5 miles to the gallon if i do that. lol

Always glad to see someone your age in american iron not a ricer. Welcome

I'm doing the same thing with a '72:yes: I really love the 71 and 72 Road Runners

X2 Saaaaaa-LUTE

I think I saw that car on ebay.

Those are some interestingly wide rallye's on the rear.

...and if you're on any kind of budget, you won't be getting a 340- chaeper to go 440. Just sayin'.

I might suggest a 5.9 Mag for 300 cheap gross HP. (and decent MPG on pump gas with 175K mile reliability as a bonus)

...and the difference between the 1969 "standard 4 barrel 383" (330 gross HP) and the "magnum", was 5 HP.

Now, who knows where that 5 HP came from?

Very cool looking car.. Welcome aboard!!
