New Guy with a '72 Coronet Starting Issue

I didn't have to mess with the push button. I'm thinking it may have been where the postive battery connector and the cable meet. I took the old one off and cleaned up the splice and installed a new connector. I wrenched to on as tight as I could and it seemed to make before contact.

Told ya :)

Well here's some good news. I had some time to work on the coronet today after school. I disconnected, cleaned, and reconnect every ground and power wire I could find. After all of that, it started right up.

i tried telling you that thru an interpreter last week. i had that exact same thing happen to my 66....and cleaning the battery negative on the engine block is what fixed the problem. thats a TYPICAL bad ground issue my friend.....i hope you didnt buy a new starter like i did before i found what the problem was. when you have ANYYYYYYYYYY electrical issues...ALLLLLWAYSSSSS check ground first.!

congrats, now on to your next project :headbang:
