Does anyone know where I can find a new headlight switch for my 67 gtx?

The one that I can get through year one appears to be made by standard, and I've learned from past experiences that it is not a direct replacement. Those required the stock knob/rod to be shortened in order for the knob to sit in the correct position.

Does anyone know of any switch that is a direct replacement not requiring any modifications?

Thank you

Saw a NOS switch couple of days ago on ebay....$100.00, free shipping.

Why would you have to modify the rod? All the ones that I've changed were pretty much the same.

Disconnect battery, turn headlight switch to the left (dome light position), push the button on the side of the switch in while pulling out on the rod. That removes the rod so you can remove the retaining ring, remove the switch from the dash, unplug the switch. Install new one in the reverse order.

The last switch I bought made the rod stick out further than stock, so I had to shorten it. I believe it was a Standard switch.
