Hi all, my name is justin, im from new zealand. Our currant mopar is a 67 Fury3, 4 door hardtop. It is a rare canadian assembled right hand drive export model. Has a mildly worked 360 and has had a lot of work done by my self and my girlfriend, mostly panel work, the roof and bonnet were the only good panels on it. Also among the numerous modifications is a custom 4 link rear suspension, and a full retro styled leather interior. Its a pretty cool cruser!! and the fury will never be sold to fund another project, we will just build a bigger garage!
My reason for joining the b body forum is as we draw near to finishing the fury, it is getting time to start thinking about the next project, and this will be a b-body, preferably a big block 4 speed and left hand drive, altho im quite open to building clones, ie im not hung up on numbers matching.
I am looking towards a 69 Coronet (bee clone) 67 - 69 GTX or a 69 RR.
I hope i can make friends and contacts on here to help me later as we gear up for the next project.

Thanks Justin

here are a couple of pics of fury at the mo, 99% finished

welcome to FBBO forum. That's a nice FuryIII.

Justin, welcome over!I am really diggin your ride!!The rhd is sooo cool.Does it have air ride?

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Hemi-itis, yes it does have slam re7 airbags in the back, they are very good to have, to get the car over driveways, speed humps etc. the front suspension is torsion bar, lowered offset firm feel 1.12 bars, a 1.25 FF sway bar, just suspension strut rods, firm feel stage 2 steering box, bilstein shocks all round.

here is a pic of the 4 link

Once in a while a car hits me the right way, yours does:munky2:Are the bags emty in that pic?If not I need another pic with it slammed.I've always wanted a barge, with power{boost},A/C and on the ground when parked:tongue8:

in those pics its up half way, at a nice driving height, here are some slammed pics.
some more power would be nice in our fury, there is plenty of room for a procharger or turbo under the bonnet later down the track. next on the list is redo the stripe we used to have on the tail, but a silver stripe, ive included a pic of our old stripe when the car was flat black and white stripe, also two of my friends stripe/mascots are in the pic

AWSOME!!!! Your ride is the vision I have had for many years:idea1:When I get done throwin $$$$$$$$$$$ at my junk,I will save up for a C/barge:eusa_boohoo:

woo hooo, that looks like it will be some serious muscle, love the "ears".
thats why we want a b body next, the fury is for coool cruzing, we clock up a lot of miles in her, the 360 is reliable and reasonably economical, but with enuf balls to hold its own on the motorway. But our b-body build will be muscle and attitude all the way, with a stauch big block mill, aggessive forward stance and probably bright paint, but its all dreams at the moment, ive gotta do finishing touchs on this one then save some dollars! After fixing a full rust bucket, my next one will hopefully be rust free

gotta love a blown hemi with ele ears.

fury is a great for cool cruzing, we do a lot of miles in her, up and down the country to different events and places. The small block is reasonable on the gas, reliable and holds its own on the motorway, but the reason for wanting a b body is to do a more angry car, lots of noise and attitude, maybe not so suitable for the long road trips.

not shure on what look we will go for with a b body, cant decide between a "factory" look with black steel wheels and red stripe tyres and fibreglass scoop etc, or the old street racer, jacked up at the back with very wide semi drag slick tyres on rear and littles on front with a blower or tunnel ram, ive got plenty of time to decide, and i will no doubt get insperation from this site!
I have already been enjoying looking through some of the members rides for ideas

Use BOOST in your vision, you can thank me later:bootyshake:Doesn't matter how you do it,,,,,,,,,,,,,just DO IT!!!!!:tongue8:

Very nice car and Kuddo's for going "outside the box". Not too many folks around my area mess with the C bodies but I think they are worth the time and effort. Yours is a good example of what can be done with one of Ma Mopar's better looking cars.

welcome. that car is just cool all the way around.
