Hello, everyone! Pyroguy1990, here!

I would like to introduce myself here as a new owner of a 1972 Dodge Charger SE.

Recently purchased in October from a private seller I have been giving this vehicle the run down and it has been all kinds of interesting, frustrating, fulfilling and exciting. I've wanted to own an American muscle car since I was a child and I've finally been able to start achieving that dream.

I've run into a litany of issues I've been able to fix on this pre-owned vehicle myself (i.e. horrible electrical wiring & connections, leaking seals, valve covers overtightened until they break, fuel pump issues, crumpled headers and more.).

Whereas I have been fixing issues left and right there are some that I just cannot seem to solve for the life of me no matter what I do.

Please see attached photographs and future posts.

I look forward to any advice and discussions in the future as I attempt to build this dream car into what it can become.

Thank you to everyone in advance! I have been referencing these forums the past month as I work and a lot of this has helped tremendously already!

Pictures are from beginning of project...

Welcome again from Washington State. Do you know about the Celebrity Cars & Coffee put on by the boys over at Celebrity Cars? I don't know their calendar schedule but I'm guessing they take a break this time of year.

The wife and I are headed to Vegas over Christmas. Do you have any little-known restaurants of choice you'd like to share?

Cheers! Doug

Good luck with the 72 Charger SE
