Can you post the item numbers of those covers, I wanna make sure those are not the older version.

Hi Mopar Hunter I wanted to ask (in my for sale thread) what is your concern with my valve covers?
You state they are the older version. I have a set of these on my current 440 that I installed and have no issues with fitment or leaks.
Im not sure what you want the potential buyers to know. Heck, Id like to know too.

The older versions are prone to leaking. I bought a set of the older versions despite being warned for my '68 440 and they didn't make it through the dyno break in without leaking oil. I ended up buying a nice original set from Tony's Parts and using my AMDs for wall hangers. Supposedly they retooled them and fixed the leaking issues.

Since you asked , read below, this is the reason why I asked. Plus, the newer version is a lot cheaper.

Mopar Hunter, Lot cheaper? they're the same price. And I don't charge state sales tax. The $25 is shipping, which by the way is discounted.
Dont believe me?, go ship something via Fedex or UPS. shipping rates have gone crazy.
As far as leaking,? I seal my valve cover gaskets down with grey Permatex sealant and let set overnight.
Its used for parts on motorcycle engines instead of gaskets.
Works great and my early AMD covers haven't leaked since they were installed last year.
Case Closed.
