Hello good people of FBBO!

I have been the proud owner of a 74 Roadrunner for about 4 years now. I've used FBBO and FABO extensively over the past few years as a source for information and I figured that it was time to actually join.

I have been a farmer my whole life so I'm decently familiar with mechanical work, but this is my first project car.

Sure.
It's a 318 with the 3 speed manual.

It always drove well, but with over 100,000 miles the engine was a bit tired.

I just got it back from the machine shop with a 30 over bore, 0 deck pistons, and decked so that it truely is 0 deck.

I've put a set of speedmaster heads on so compression should be right at about 9.5 to 1.

The cam came from Hughes, but is a Howards cam. Its got .529/.535 lift, 228/232 duration at 0.050, and a 110 LSA. Hughes variable duration lifters and adjustable roller rockers.

Edelbrock RPM Airgap, and a Fitech throttle body EFI.

Hopefully I'll get it started and broke in today.

There is some surface rust and a couple of quarter sized holes in the inside of the fenders, but over all it is solid. It came out of southern Colorado.

I had a couple issues getting the EFI to pick up a tach signal, but got it going.

I think break in went well. It needs a little more tuning, particularly with the timing, but we're going now.
