that is a nice collection! I have to ask you a question in reference to the tail light Bezels. Aren't they supposed to have red paint were the silver argent strip is on the inside edge? I noticed there are more GTX's without it than there are with it. And these were all survivor cars to boot! I guess when the factory ran out of a part, they chose the closest thing they had at the time. Also, can you send me a close up of your Tire Pressure decal. And are they the same color on all your cars?Welcome from Alabama, 67 first year GTX'S are my favorites. View attachment 1831318View attachment 1831327View attachment 1831328

You da man! i would really appreciate pics of your Tire Pressure decal. I have to figure this out once and for all!Yes, there is supposed to be tail panel red in that area on the GTX'S, the Satellite got argent silver there. Chrome doesn't adhere paint very well so survivor cars could have just washed off. All my cars came from east of the Mississippi, but I will look at the tire inflation decals,.when I get back to my building. I have one survivor 67 GTX and one survivor 67 Coronet R/T that may reveal something for you. View attachment 1831354View attachment 1831353View attachment 1831355
let's see some pics Dave! also, can you show me a close up of your Tire pressure decal? I am trying to choose the correct one that my car would have come from the factory with. i don/t know if all B Bodies were the same or if it was by car models etc...Welcome to FBBO from Ontario, Mike. same thing with the Sail Panel Moldings. The valley in the middle of the molding was painted flat black as well. But hardly any cars at all show any signs of ever having it. i deal with Tony D' Agostino's parts business and the one fella that i spoke with yesterday said that he was there over 20 yrs. and has never seen any of the Sail panel Moldings with the inlaid black on them. He has many in stock that are originals and none have the black on them. Go figure! You da man! i would really appreciate pics of your Tire Pressure decal. I have to figure this out once and for all!
