Hey guys! Well I finally bought my dream car, a General Lee. I decided to buy one that was already converted instead of turning a beautiful charger into another GL. I'll be on here quite often because classic cars are not my field of expertise at all. Here are the specs on my car. I already swapped out the wheels for some new Vectors which I had painted semi gloss black to look correct. I've also got a wide push bar from James Smith that I just had powder coated but haven't had the chance to install yet. I'd love some feedback because I really want to be able to drive this car all over. It was originally built for the strip and right now I have to run it on 100 octane according to the previous owner. I want to tune it to run on pump fuel. I suspect I'll need a milder cam? What I really need is a good shop in the New Orleans area that is reputable and knowledgable of these cars. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.
