New Member - New B Body Owner

Hello everyone, I'm Mac from Ontario - please don't hate because I'm Canadian! Just bought my first B-Body approx. 4 months ago, just about to get it on the road. Here is a picture of the car when I bought it 4 months ago (sorry its so dark), you can see slight front end damage, PO told me it came out of gear while parked and rolled into a ditch, I got it dirt cheap because he didn't want to fix it. I have since replaced the fenders and front valance so the body is pretty much ready to go (except for paint but that will be a while), it took me longer than I wanted because I have been extremely busy lately with work and my family but I finally found the parts and got it done. What brought me to this forum is after I finally fixed the body I fired it up ready to take it out and I have a knock in the engine, it didn't knock 4 months ago when I got it and I wanted some opinions before I went into the engine. I appreciate all the help I have received already on the other thread, seems like a great community here, glad I found it.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. A couple people mentioned to change the oil and report back and it was the first thing I did before I even came to the forum. I had the oil and filter ready to go because I was going to do it anyway so when I started it up and heard the knock I shut it down right away and change the oil and filter, unfortunately the knock was still there after so we are on to the next step.
