Hello everybody,

I wasn't really sure where to start, so I'll start here. I've got a 1968 Dodge Coronet with a screaming slant six in it. It's a two door post and it's in rough shape. I've looked over the B-body forums for a while now, and just now decided to become a member. I've got an uncle who builds Mopars and he sold me a 383 with transmission for a very reasonable price. He also gave me a K-member for the slant-six to big-block conversion. A bit of interesting trivia on my car-when I bought it, it was painted like the General Lee. Flag, numbers, blacked-out tail panel. It was originally gold, and the owners' manual and warranty book show that a woman named Anette Jones purchased it in November of 1968, in Memphis TN. At least, that's interesting to me. It's a clunker, but it'll run a good twenty miles, at least. That's about as far as I've ever driven it. I've got plans on putting the 383 over in it by sometime next year, and the next step after that are sub-frame connectors. It smokes, sputters, and if I close my eyes when it's running, it sounds like a V-8 hittin a lick. The same uncle that sold me the motor and transmission also owns a fully restored 69 SuperBee. I can only hope my Coronet will ever look so good. I'll probably be asking you guys some questions in the future. Thanks for the Forum.
