Hi all. As you can tell, my name is Mike, I am the guy that is helping out with the fuel pump problems people are having with the Carter 6903 putting out too much pressure. I am a rebuilder of mechanical things that can not be bought anymore. Hopefully I can help with any problems people might have with mechanical fuel pumps. I work for a company called Then And Now Automotive in MA.

Welcome from Vermont. There's a BUNCH of old things on this site who don't work anymore...lol! Good luck!:welcome:

Welcome Mike! We meet again!

The fuel pump you rebuilt for me is holding up great. I haven't tried to empty the carb bowls out yet. It's kind of hard to do on the roads in this area!
Here's the thread that got the ball rolling with wanting to reduce the mechanical fuel pump pressure.

Something I wanted to touch base with you on, have you made any motor mounts for the Big Block Mopar engines. I read on your site that you make and restore motor mounts. Any interlocking mounts available for these engines have dried up on the market lately. Here is a recent thread on this...

Can't say as I've had any issue with the one I bought from Mancini a few
years ago - sits right on 6psi at idle.
Fuel pump pushrods, on the other hand.....yeah, I've had issue with a couple
of those, including ones from Comp Cams (both the ones they sell) and Howard's.

The mounts I make are mostly for much older vehicles, with a few exceptions. I do go up into the 60's for the big block Mopars.
