This is my 67 but has a 383 4bl. I’ve had it for a least 30 years.

I know. I fixed and put that transmission back in almost 30 yrs ago. Couldn't get the cables right, Dad called in a friend lol

Have to add to the message.
She was 13, she came with Dad and myself to get the Polara. We left early in the morning to get the car. Got home about midnight. She never had a complaint on the whole trip. What a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Round trip was about 400 miles.
We were an NHRA track at the time. We had a Junior Street Class in there. She started racing against people who had started out racing junior dragster’s at age 8. She won the class 2 years out of 3. Then moved into Sportsman and Pro .
