If I recall, you had a good trip with a country /folk singer in a 69 RTSE sunroof charger lol

Welcome Merv! Thanks for all the years of work into the car shows! We were just talking a bit last nite about putting another one together. I'm still glad you had that 70 to sell in rapid city so I didn't have to sell mine!
I should have kept it. But that hind sight.

From one ‘69 RR owner to another, welcome!

You didn’t mention that you got a ride home from Rapid City in a quite rare 1st year 67 440 Charger.

Wow. You must have been on the same trip. That was a long time ago. It was a lot of fun. When cars were reasonably priced.

Have to add to the message.
She was 13, she came with Dad and myself to get the Polara. We left early in the morning to get the car. Got home about midnight. She never had a complaint on the whole trip. What a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Round trip was about 400 miles.
We were an NHRA track at the time. We had a Junior Street Class in there. She started racing against people who had started out racing junior dragster’s at age 8. She won the class 2 years out of 3. Then moved into Sportsman and Pro .
