Do you recall if the original coil wire had a red boot on the distributor car? Or do you have a picture by chance?Yes it sure "Did" sorry to say they are gone now. I have many many photos of this car and the pieces it came as.
I honestly dont recall, all the wires were in a box with other parts. I will scan though my photos in the next day and see if i have any pics of them and get back with you.Do you recall if the original coil wire had a red boot on the distributor car? Or do you have a picture by chance?
We have been researching this as some, not all 4spd cars had this and it was a single red boot on the dizzy cap.....
No problem and whenever you get a chance...Thanks!I honestly dont recall, all the wires were in a box with other parts. I will scan though my photos in the next day and see if i have any pics of them and get back with you.

IMHO. an OE set of plug wires would have some 90* boots and some straights.these are believed to be the original wires on my car, which is a 4 speed car. The distributor was changed in 1970 to an Accel dual point, but the wires are ribbed and I believe them to be original.

Great picture and thank you for sharing.....I would love to see more of that car if still in the original shape as this picture.....these are believed to be the original wires on my car, which is a 4 speed car. As Dadsbee stated an OE set has a few 90 degree boots and no ribs.....
Just keep in mind in all my research through decades. I have only personally seen 2 cars with original wires..........So dont take it the wrong way because your single pic alone speaks miles as to how original that car is or once was.....The replacement Gates heater hose is from the late 70's, very cool......Plus you know the original owner and that person is still alive...That is phenomenal....
