i recently (yesterday) purchased a ‘64 Fury 426 4 speed convertible. I had a post going in the projects section of the site but had some suggestions it would be better located here so I’m starting a new thread here and will update this one.
I found out about this car about 3 years ago when the same seller had a 63 Max Wedge hardtop for sale that I should have bought but didn’t. I had tried to get a hold of the owner for a couple of years but his e-mail and phone number were no longer active. About a month ago I found an old email on the Ramcharger car that had his address in it. I went old school and mailed him a letter inquiring about the ‘63. A couple days later I received an e-mail from him saying the ‘63 was long gone but he still had his ‘64 Fury Street Wedge 4 Speed convertible. I arranged to go see it again and ended up buying the car. It’s a big project, but I look forward to resurrecting this pretty rare car.
Here are some photos of the car.
I’ll have lots of questions, so hopefully I won’t become too big of a pain.
