I saw a 66-67 B-Body roof on craigslist located in Springfield a couple weeks ago; I think he was asking about $200. Unfortunately, no one, to my knowledge, makes a new replacement roof skin for the the 66-67.

edit: here's the ad; has some surface rust, but maybe worth looking at, depending on your situation

Yep........Roof replacements, for the most part, are still unavailable.

Quarters would be best from AMD...as for how close, don't know........BUT, a LOT of good AMD sheet metal is finding it's way into swap meets and car festivals. You'll have to do some research in TN.

No new 1/4s available for 66-67 bs' nothing listed by AMD

a 69'.....definitely AMD. If you buy both quarters and the roof, they'll probably give you a smoking deal on shipping. Jeff @521 Restorations is a great guy to buy tin through.

Take heed that the AMD quarters will need some TLC to fit perfect, but is nothing compared to some of the other mediocre stamps out there

You can drive down to Atlanta and get them from Year One. Year One resells them from AMD I believe. If AMD has it, Year One can get it for you.

AMD is only 20 + minutes from where Year One is located.[Buford GA]. If you're gonna drive there, might as well get them from the original source. No Year One mark-up, and AMD will probably give you a decent discount to make it worth the trip. I've picked up parts from them twice already, and I live in northern Ohio. Some diesel fuel was cheaper than the shipping!

It's typically only $150 to ship to your house. I don't see how driving more than 3 hours makes up for that. You kill a whole day and AMD isn't open for pickup on Saturday. I'd call all their distributors and see who offers the best price. Use all that driving time to work on your car. Just my 2 cents.

I picked up 4 quarters and a lot of other stuff at the same time. A dually and a trailers worth, actually. They roughly estimated $700 to $1000 to ship it all at the same time, so it was worth it to me. Maybe not so much for others. I also bought a 68 satellite conv. from a lady in Stone Mountain that nobody down there seemed to interested in, so it was a 2 birds with one stone kind of thing. I needed a break from the shop and the weather up here, so it was a small working vacation I guess.

I got a better deal on a hood on ebay. It was shipped to my house cheaper than amd had it on their site. I know dealers who buy alot get a better deal, its just good business for them. And i didnt have to do anything. And the hood looks and fits great. As far as an unrequested opinion, you asked for the cheapest price. I wouldnt skimp on exterior sheetmetal. You can hid a poor fitting floor pan but a bad quarter is going to be seen every time.
