Picked up a set of rims and tires, think I am going to have the front tires turned around so the white lettering is on the inside. Not mounted on the car as of yet but will be soon. 265/50R/15 on the rear and 215/65R/15 on the front.

I didn't much of anything all week, the rims were dropped off last night.

Just my opinion but i like the steelies better on your car. you don't need fancy wheels to make your car look any better. very nice 63. John

Thanks John, this way I have both, maybe one set for shows and one for a cruise....

I've been trying to decide if i want steelies on my car. just wish someone made 15's so we can use the large caps. i like the large caps that came on the 65's.

Check out classic chambered exhaust web site in milford, mi they have the steel wheels any size you want.

Yes, good company to deal with, even from this side of the pond, but he only does standard widths of the early steels, ie 15x5.5"

That looks good ! Ron

I've seen 15x7 Mopar wheels & 15x7 Mopar Cop Car (Taxi) wheels with 1/4" bolts (minus the head of the bolt) tack welded to the wheel on top of the nub where the lip of the dog dish seats--with 64 & 65 caps installed--seems to work perfectly.
