I have a 440 with the code 4006630-0-440-8. 7T 440 E 5 23 x. Is this a good motor to build ?
I was told by a few sources that it's not the case. It means that it's the pattern number where that block was poured. Easy to identify if there is a problem.-8 is the number of individual cylinder core changes have been performed on that original block core. Might be a good idea to get a sonic check to see if there is significant core shift, if you are thinking of boring the block oversize. "T" is Trenton engine plant?
