My name is Bruce I have a performance shop Toth Performance and Port cylinder heads. I have 40 years experience and the majority of my porting is on Mopar heads. I also offer new aluminum big and small block CPPA/Toth Performance Street Fighter heads with three levels of porting available. Another member asked me to join, I also write tech articles for Chrysler Power Magazine and did the R&D work on the Poly cylinder head project. I'm located in western Pa.

Wow - nice creds. Glad you joined. This is a great site for all things b bodies. You'll make a great addition.

Excellent Bruce, glad you got on. I just sent a note to the administrator but I see that won't be needed. I really am interested in your heads as we talked before but my build has changed a little. Instead of the 440 I am building the 383 that came in the car to a 468 with a stroker rotating assembly since my crank had to be replaced because of side journal wear. Still have the 727 to get rebuilt as well as the rear end gears to work out. Not looking for a track car but did want plenty to play with on the street. You at first recommended the level 2 port job and I can't remember the flow rates you were posting. going to run an Eddie performer RPM and maybe an 850 carb. how different will this be from the 440 we initially talked about? Not yet we are still discussing it, trying to decide if it is feasible, when you can make 500 hp with ported steel heads would there be a market for them?

Just getting it up and running now should be finished soon Tothperformance.com

No tricks to it the secret is to plan you project in advance and build your motor for the purpose you intend on using it for, that makes you a happy camper. You don't want a 1/4 mile race motor for the street.
